Our Short Film Production Process

Contact us for a consultation meeting.
Reach out to discuss the nature of your project, establish the scope and confirm a timeline.
With these elements in place the studio can produce an official quotation. (Google Meets,Zoom or Phone)

Studio submits quotation
Quotations are submitted via email itemizing the components of the project. This is heavily influenced by the scope and timeline allotted to projects. Submissions reflect any information received up until that point.

Down payment & Mobilization
Down Payments or Mobilization Fees are necessary for all projects.  Project scope and duration are just 2 key factors in determining which protocol is triggered. Typically projects require a 50% down payment.

Animation Production Begins
Production on the concept pieces begins as soon as the payment is made. This is confirmed in a brief follow up meeting that outlines the objectives especially in the coming days/weeks.

Draft 1
Rough lines, Mock Ups and technical planning.
This involves storyboards and animatics while working with the Sound team on the Music, Scoring, Voice over, SFX and Sound Design.

Draft 2
Locked movements, Colour Palettes and Backgrounds (Environments). Here the production team discusses the previews of the draft animated shots, typically line art, and use the animatic along with the shot list to crosscheck completion rate.

Draft 3
Composited shots with timeline edits. It also involves FX testing and polishing of the sound components.

Delivery of final files.
Delivery of the final files occur when confirmation of the intended final payment date is secured. All final JPEGs or PNGs will be packaged and delivered via Google Drive or any other preferred secure cloud sharing platform of your choice.

PSDs or formats that retains the original layers and brushworks are available by request only. In the case of print ready PSDs or PDFs, this should be indicated at the consultation phase. This incurs an additional cost and is typically discussed in the per-quotation phase.
